Currently, we have two vacancies on the BPAC. The BPAC is an advisory agency that represents the interest of people who walk or bike and to provide recommendations to the MPO Board before transportation decisions are made, particularly concerning these bicycle/pedestrian facilities.
One (1) Volunteer representing Mid County. This volunteer must reside within the geographic area of Charlotte County that is both West of the Peace River and East of the Myakka River.
One (1) volunteer representing a local Bicycle Business within Charlotte County.
Application Deadline: Friday, September 18, 2026. The MPO Board will elect a member at it’s Monday, October 5, 2026 meeting.

MPO – Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking one volunteer:
1. One experienced representative of the local private for-profit transportation industry.
The purpose of the LCB is to identify local service needs and to provide information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordination of service to be provided to the transportation disadvantaged.
