Currently, we have one vacancy on the BPAC.
1. One volunteer representing Bicycles Club(s).
The BPAC is an advisory agency that represents the interest of people who walk or bike and to provide recommendations to the MPO Board before transportation decisions are made, particularly concerning these bicycle/pedestrian facilities.
Application deadline: Friday, December 4, 2026. The MPO Board will elect members at its Thursday, December 17, 2026 meeting.

Currently, we have three vacancies on the CAC.
1. One At-Large Representative – This volunteer must be a U.S. Citizen reside within Charlotte County.
2. One Mid County Representative – This volunteer must be a U.S. Citizen and reside in the geographic area of Charlotte County which is west of the Peace River and east of the Myakka River.
3. One West County Representative – This volunteer must be a U.S. Citizen reside within the geographic area of Charlotte County which is west of the Myakka River.
The CAC is composed of citizen volunteers and reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects for the MPO Board.

Currently, we have two vacancies on LCB:
MPO – Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking one volunteer:
1. One experienced representative of the local private for-profit transportation industry.
2. One volunteer representing elderly interests.
The purpose of the LCB is to identify local service needs and to provide information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordination of service to be provided to the transportation disadvantaged.
