Every five years, the MPO develops the Long-Range Transportation Plan (LRTP). This Plan looks over the next 25 years to forecast future needs of the transportation system (including roads, transit, biking and walking) and prioritize projects to address the growing needs of the community. Using extensive public engagement, modeling and data analytics, the Plan coordinates federal, state, local and regional funds toward our prioritized local transportation projects.
The 2050 LRTP was adopted at the October 2, 2025 MPO Board Meeting.
