Charlotte County Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committe (BPAC) is seeking
- Two volunteers representing Mid County (Any area East of the Myakka River and North of the Peace River).
- One volunteer representing Charlotte County – At Large.
The BPAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects that the MPO Board will consider.
Application Deadline: Friday, May 8, 2026. The MPO Board will elect a member at its Monday, May 18, 2026 meeting.

Charlotte County Citizens’ Advisory Committee (CAC) is seeking one volunteer representing Charlotte County – At Large
The CAC reviews and makes recommendations on transportation plans and projects that the MPO Board will consider.

Currently, we have two vacancies on LCB:
MPO – Charlotte County Transportation Disadvantaged Local Coordinating Board (LCB) is seeking two volunteers:
1. One experienced representative of the local private for-profit transportation industry.
2. One volunteer representing the Economically Disadvantaged (rule: “A person who is recognized by the Florida Association for Community Action (President), representing the economically disadvantaged in the county.”)
The purpose of the LCB is to identify local service needs and to provide information, advice, and direction to the Community Transportation Coordination of service to be provided to the transportation disadvantaged.
